This property, with old stone walls still running through the woods and fields, affords spectacular views of Vermont’s Green Mountains. A four bedroom post and beam house for two retired professionals was designed using timbers salvaged from an old barn. The goal was to design a house with old-world Vermont vernacular charm, while providing all the amenities of a modern lifestyle. The rustic stone fireplace, stone terrace, front porch and eat-in screen porch supplement and integrate the house and maintain a farmhouse scale appearance.
