This garden shelter was created out of salvaged parts of a derelict wagon shed. The idea to re-use the timbers enchanted the owners, who purchased them for building the shelter in the coolest corner of their property, for hot summer evenings. While the shelter is a haven for these bird-watchers and gardeners throughout most of the year, the garden shed and fireplace were later incorporated into the design, to create a focus of activity for all seasons.
